HangyTangy is built on one uncompromising principle: it does not collect, store remotely, or transmit any personal information. Every measurement, calculation, and project record stays entirely on your device. Here's exactly what that means.
We collect nothing. HangyTangy has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and we gather no usage analytics or device identifiers. The information you create — mounting configurations, load and safety-margin calculations, mounting-point layouts, span data, journals, checklists, and saved templates — is generated and held only on your device.
Because we never collect your data, we have nothing to use, analyze, profile, monetize, or sell. All planning, load evaluation, risk analysis, and project tracking run entirely on-device. Your inputs are processed locally to produce your results and are never sent anywhere for any purpose.
All app data is stored locally in HangyTangy's own storage on your device. There is no cloud backend, no remote database, and no server-side copy of your projects. Nothing you enter is uploaded, mirrored, or transmitted off your device by the app.
HangyTangy integrates no third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, trackers, or external SDKs that would harvest your information. There are no embedded ad systems and no behavioral monitoring, and the app shares data with no outside parties — because none ever leaves your device.
Since your projects never travel across a network, the most common avenues of data exposure simply don't apply. Your information stays within your device's own protected storage and inherits the security controls of your operating system, keeping outside interference to an absolute minimum.
HangyTangy does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because the app gathers no data from any user, it is inherently compliant with the spirit of COPPA and similar child-privacy regulations.
You retain complete control over everything you create. Your projects exist only on your device, and you can remove them at any time. Deleting the app permanently erases all associated local data, and because there are no accounts and no backups on our side, there is nothing for us to retain once you remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the app or changes in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date shown above. Continued use of HangyTangy after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
